The BluFestival of the Municipality of Melendugno this year offers a series of initiatives that combine music, art, culture and entertainment. A summer season full of events between Melendugno, Borgagne and the Marine.
“We have reached the third summer together and it is a great joy to promote the program of the Blu Festival 2024, full of cultural and entertainment events, which are also opportunities to be together”, declares the Mayor Maurizio Cisternino. “Our infinite gratitude goes to the resident and itinerant community, considering that it is precisely from their continuous meeting and discussion that all the transformations that today make our places more beautiful, more welcoming and lively have arisen. This year too, the BluFestival calendar is teeming with meetings, stories and sounds that are expressed in different art forms, ranging from theatre to music in the most varied, sophisticated and engaging genres: blues, swing, jazz, rock and pop, crossover, and Italian singer-songwriters, in order to involve all age groups”.
The interesting theatre events are back in Roca Nuova, in collaboration with the Consorzio del Teatro Pubblico Pugliese, which will culminate on 25 August with a great tribute to Lucio Dalla. The Conversations in Roca Antica are back, hosted by Daniele Rielli, who will dialogue with important personalities of the Italian cultural scene. The event Le vie del Miele, which will take place in the historic centre of Melendugno, with multiple artistic, cultural and food and wine experiences, is now in its third edition, richer and more spirited than ever.
Under the stars of the night of San Lorenzo, the great energy of the travelling festival La Notte della Taranta explodes again in Sant’Andrea.
