A chi è rivolto

Natural persons registered as residents in restricted traffic zones:

vehicle owners;
with a leased vehicle;
with a vehicle purchased with a retention of title agreement;
with a leased vehicle with the option to purchase or in usufruct (regularly transcribed on the vehicle documents);
with a rental vehicle registered to a company of which the resident is the owner;
with a vehicle in frigne benefit.

The request can be submitted online or delivered in person to the Protocol Office, main office, see references in the footer / bottom of the page.

Cosa serve

To access the service, make sure you have:

• SPID or Electronic Identity Card (CIE);
• Vehicle registration number;
• Applicant's driving licence.

Cosa si ottiene

A permit is obtained to be displayed on the windshield of the vehicle during the entire duration of the transit of the stop in the ZTL or to be shown, upon request of the officers in charge of the control, when it is associated with vehicles that do not allow the passenger compartment to be locked.

Quanto costa

The amount of the ZTL permit for the historic center is €5.00. The fee is not due upon expiration of the permit in the event of renewal, when it is carried out during the validity of the previous expiring pass. A permit expired for more than a year is not considered a renewal.

The permit allows vehicles to transit and park 24 hours a day in limited traffic zones.

The ZTL permit is valid for 5 years from the date of issue and can be renewed two months before the expiration date.
